Set design and build for touring festival venue and night club 'Samedia Shebeen', an ongoing and ever expanding collaboration between myself and Astrojazz productions. Inspired by illicit drinking dens found throughout South African townships, Samedia Shebeen fuses an interchangeable collection of props and set, lighting design and smoke with a musical soundtrack from around the globe. Since 2010 the venue has appeared at The Roxy Arthouse during the Edinburgh Fringe, traveled to Boomtown Fair, Kelburn Garden Party, and Knockengorroch Festival. For more info on how to hire Samedia Shebeen for your event email chris@astrojazz.co.uk.
