Asked by 'The Smoking Fox' to transform a space previously used as a charity shop into a 'gentleman's outfitters' style interior. This involved stripping back walls and removing modern ceiling tiles to open up the room and reveal hidden Georgian features. Wooden panel work, library shelving and a custom built counter was constructed then grained and varnished for a vintage appearance, whilst a fire place was added installed with a flat screen monitor. To conceal irreparable damage to the original plaster work, a floating ceiling was built lined with colored LED strips for ambient lighting.
Example of the original space after stripping back modern fittings.
